Bourbon Maple Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 9 inch rolled pie-crust or make your own...I went the easy route
  • 1 can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of 100 % pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp of Kentucky straight bourbon like Old Forester My husband's favorite!
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp of Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 dash of coarse kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Beat two eggs.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all of your ingredients using a standing or hand mixer. Mix well!
  • Roll out pie crust and press into pie dish. Press edges to make imprint using a fork.
  • Fill pie crust evenly with pumpkin pie mixture.
  • Bake in oven for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake for an additional 30-45 minutes.
  • Remove to cool for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours serve or refrigerate and serve chilled later.
